Ink-Jet marker Komax ims 291

The Komax ims 291 inkjet marking system is a fully integrated marker for black inks. It stands out particularly for its high marking speed and its simple and reliable mode of processing.

For simple applications, the Komax ims 291 can be operated without basic machines.

The marking settings are controlled by the OMI input device.

The marker has two interfaces that allow existing and future Komax machines to be operated. All settings specific to the marked text, e.g. text input or setup parameters, can be conveniently entered from the user interface in the basic machine. Pressure is built up with a gear pump, eliminating the need for a compressed air connection. Marker operation is environmentally responsible and economical thanks to the constant monitoring of ink using drop flight time measurements and the automatic apportionment of thinner.

A new control design permits superb marking quality even when large wire accelerations/delays are involved. Moreover, an intelligent speed optimization feature processes unmarked wire sections at the maximum possible wire processing speed.
