02.12.2010 - Update Option „Small Gauge 0.13mm2“ and „Halogen-free” wires

We are glad to confirm our expectations in regards to the increasing demand for reduced wire cross sections and new insulating materials from the automobile industry.

27.10.2010 - Complex quality monitoring during the crimping process

The monitoring of fully automatic crimping is a challenge for manufacturers of fully automatic crimping machines.
When crimped contacts are created, a good and reliable connection with the strand is expected so that optimum signal or power transmission is ensured. In concrete terms this means no individual cut-off strands, no insulation crimped in the contact and an optimum crimp height to guarantee the strength of the connection.

22.03.2010 - Short wire length on Kappa 310

With this option on Kappa 310 it is now possible to process very short wire length on both sides.

22.03.2010 - Kappa 321: Inner conductor processing for multi-polar sensor cables

This option allows in spite of minimal outer jacket stripping an optimal seperation of the inner conductor.

06.01.2010 - CFA+ crimp force analysis

15.12.2008 - Small-gauge and halogen free wires

Topics like weight, rising prices of raw material and increasing demand for vehicle electronics open the way to reduced wire cross sections and new insulating materials to be used in today's automobile wire harness.

09.12.2008 - Higher productivity thanks to minimal changeover times

Wire processing machine manufacturers constantly have to optimize the speed of their processes, so they can cut non-productive times to a minimum. This goal is achieved by increasing the processing speed and by approaching processing stations more quickly. Various steps are predestined to decrease non-productive times and thus, cost per lead.

18.07.2008 - Specialized article Alpha 356

The diversity of processes on fully automatic crimping machines.
It is not always possible to predict the future processes on a fully automatic crimping machine in advance.

02.07.2008 - Quick-change tool system

The use of the quick-change tool systems reduces changeover times dramatically

17.06.2008 - Barcode scanner and material change detection

Comprehensive quality control is increasingly important because of product liability. The material being processed should be verified as correct prior to production and after each change of material. This is an important aspect of quality control and ensures traceability across the entire production chain all the way back to the material used.
