The wireless Datalogic PM8300 manual bar code scanner is impervious to dust and suitable for use in industrial environments. The device supports Kanban production and material verification, i.e. it can record material loaded in the machine and detect batches. Production is released only if the scanner verifies that the correct material is in the machine.

The cordless bar code scanner is the key to higher productivity and flexibility in the workplace. It continues performing reliably even after being dropped on hard surfaces or exposed to dust or water. Using Bluetooth technology it sends the data directly to the TopWin software. The scanner has a visual scanning confirmation feature (green point in the scanned area) and "good read" LEDs at the top and back, so it delivers an error-free code reading to the user even in loud settings and increases all-round visibility from every angle.
