Thin-film technology

In the thinfilm section Komax Systems gives know-how and delivers high quality machines for different processes below. Komax Systems is also offering lines and is your partner for the entire backend needs. For the processes Lay up, Lamination and Testing we work together with selected partners.

The substrate is conveyed to the system and positioned. In the first cell, a dispenser applies the silver conductive adhesive to the substrate in the first cell. The dosing tip is precisely tracked as it moves in a horizontal plane. This, together with the constant viscosity of the adhesive, enables high-precision doses to be administered. After dispensing, the substrate is conveyed to the second cell and repositioned. The ribbon is then stretched across the entire length of the substrate and placed with pinpoint accuracy onto the silver conductive adhesive. Finally, a black masking tape is rolled over the ribbon.
