Crystalline: Xcell 3400 with innovative soldering head
A policy of continuous innovation has made Komax a leader in the stringer field. Thanks to a continuous expansion of the product line, Komax provides customers with integrated solutions for the production of entire module lines. The new Xcell 3400 has been fitted with a soldering head and represents the next generation of Komax stringer machines. The quality of the Xcell 3400 speaks for itself: its gentle handling of cells and tried and tested adherence to cycle times enables the thinnest cells currently available to be processed. One of the outstanding features of the new soldering head is the non-metallic ceramic holddown pins and contactless thermal feedback. This leads to a reduction in maintenance and a dramatic improvement in the composition and quality of soldered connections.
The benefits of Xcell 3400 for you:
- Cell preheating and reduction of thermal stress during soldering
- Visual inspection and optical alignment of the crystalline cell
- Total ribbon control thanks to the technique of holding both ends of the ribbon until the hold-down devices take control
- While the cell is transferred a precise contact less spray fluxing method applies just the wright amount of flux onto the cell to ensure a reliable solder process.

- Economical solutions thanks to maximum throughput, high levels of system
availability, and a minimal
breakage rate
